Nice space, big change in stuff towards negative and . Doubled++ price in one month without negotiation or any communication. Charged extra for wireless access (?), and added furniture charges for not requested items. A bit wild. Current offers and pricing are much inferior to competition in the area. Would be great if management solved their billing and customer loyalty issues. Was planning eventually bring new employees into the office, but with market and economy conditions - it is too much risk as of today.

>> I have noticed a reply to my review by the owner with the recommendation to open the support ticket with the Spaces. But guess what? I opened multiple support tickets and none of them were even answered. Billing department does not have valid email address. And here are even more interesting details. After I cancelled my contract I was billed additional deposit charges and additional non existent furniture charges. I believe it is the way Spaces gets their furniture depreciation for the tax year. Interesting practice. Can it be considered as an attempt of tax evasion?

>> According to signed by me contract - all invoices were paid in full covering every month of rent. My original deposit has not been returned to me yet, but it is only to gets worse. Spaces keep sending me new bills with growing "late charges"... And now in addition Spaces has contacted my new contract employer pressuring him about this issue? It is hard to even label this kind of tactics. What is the effect they are trying to achieve, what is the gain? A month rent? Unlawful business practices. My accountant suggests legal action.

Like the other review, my business partner and I had ongoing communication issues with Spaces internal teams and billing mistakes. Within our year lease for a 3-person office, like clockwork every few months we would see a wrongful charge on our bill, which then became a game of telephone trying to correct it. During our time there were several discrepancies between what our sales rep had initially promised us and what ended happening with billing. Be prepared to pay at around $1k extra in hidden fees regardless of what your contract states and watch your billing receipts from them with eagle eyes.

Nice space, but the company is terrible to work with. Some examples:

- after signing a lease with Spaces we found a different coworking that was a better fit. We hadn’t paid a deposit yet and they told us that demand for their offices was soaring—but they wouldn’t even return our calls to ask if we could get out of the lease.

- before move in they called to tell me that they couldn’t guarantee a string enough internet signal to do video calls and tried to get me to pay extra —essentially doubling the cost of the rent—for internet. Or they said I could arrange for my own internet, but they would charge a hosting fee. The connection does cut out in video calls from time to time.

- we had to fight to get the $30 / month they charge for unlimited coffee taken off my account. They coffee is pretty cheap when you buy individual cups, so probably not with it to do the “unlimited” thing unless you drink a ton of coffee.

After 20 years in marketing on the leadership teams for media and emerging tech companies, I became a Spaces Office member to take video interviews between roles. Due to tech glitches with Spaces' app and/or whomever sets up the accounts, I've been unable to book offices for quite a few weeks. The team was notified several times, but the issue wasn't fixed.

Due to billing issues, I was charged multiple times beyond my cancelled membership. I notified staff before cancellation deadlines to discontinue membership since I had trouble cancelling via the three accounts that were set up for me by Spaces (3 accounts, yet another tech issue), but unfortunately, there are communication issues at the company.

Communication issues: the front desk requested my cancellation of Spaces' support and billing. They entered into the system since I had difficulty cancelling via the app. After a lot of work, I received an email that I'd get a refund for wrongful charges to my card. I waited. And now, not only did billing and support not refund me, they doubled the charges! The front desk, sales manager, support and billing are disjointed. You have parts of the company advocating and others working against you, with long lapses between communications. Sometimes communications drop completely until you nudge and nudge.

$2,400 in charges are now sitting in dispute on my personal card.

If you don't mind the struggle you may encounter with this company in terms of failed bookings, incorrect billing, and poor communication, the actual office space is pretty nice. Make sure everything is in writing, keep a paper/email trail and hope that you won't have these issues that shouldn't happen with a company of this maturity.

And read the rest of the reviews at other Spaces locations. It looks like it's a company-wide problem.

Spaces/Regus (Spaces' parent company) does not do right by its customers.

Spaces Water Garden is the perfect location to call our office. The facilities are modern and clean, and the front desk staff (Maureen and Nick) will go out of their way to accommodate you and any requests. Highly recommend for either a short or long term office solution.

My company rents out space here. The customer service is terrible, the wifi is horribly slow, the tech doesn't work (e.g., screen sharing) and parking is expensive. I would recommend that your company not purchase from this location, and I'm questioning the value of the entire company. I will be suggesting that my company find a new shared workspace.

This is the loudest coworking space I’ve ever worked in 🙁 Construction ongoing, often loud yard work in the beautiful garden area. Tough place to count on silence to work.
